My name is Mike Tombs. I am an Independent Funeral Celebrant. I officiate at religious and non-religious funeral services, celebration of life services and humanist style ceremonies in Grimsby, Cleethorpes and the surrounding area.
My aim is to create a personal funeral service based around what the deceased and their family would wish. Within each service I conduct is a personal and individual tribute to honour the memory of the person who has died in a dignified and fitting way. I believe that each service should reflect your own and your loved one's wishes.
Whatever type of service you choose I will endeavour to create a memorable and appropriate funeral service that meets your needs and those of the person who has died. Many people are not aware of the many different types of funeral available. There are many more options than that of a typical religious service conducted by a Religious Minister. Many people feel that this is not suitable as they want a service that is focused on the person who has died which is why the choice of a celebrant such as myself is becoming increasingly favoured.
